I don't think it's any secret that I love both 'Wrecking Ball' and the
follow-up 'Red Dirt Girl'. There's something about the way her voice
breaks on those high notes that just makes these records more
gut-wrenchingly emotional for me. I hope Emmylou decides to write
more because the songs on 'Red Dirt Girl' are gorgeous. I don't have
much of anything bad to say about either one of these records. I
think she's at the top of her game right now & I can't wait to hear
what she decides to do next.
