Just heard back from Nancy Covey [EMAIL PROTECTED], who writes:

I imagine this means that it will be open to Australians (are you listening,
Blue Mountain John?) as well as Californian ex-pats (yes, Steve, looking
forward to hearing Gillian and David's new one, 'Time - The Revelator').
Personally, I'd love to go (one day!) on their 'Louisiana Music Tour'
see http://www.gumbopages.com/festivaltours/louisiana.html
Oh Ya Ya!! As a lover (and player in an occasional London-based
Cajun band), a "private crawfish boil at the home of Marc and Ann Savoy"
(who I saw a while back at Cecil Sharp House in London) or "a rockin'
zydeco Bar-B-Q with Geno Delafose at his country ranch outside Eunice"
sounds irresistible. I have fond memories of my first experience of 'crawfish
boil' - when visiting a musician friend in Memphis a few years ago - his
band were playing at the opening party of a new club on Beale Street and
Mrs Rufus Thomas brought the crawfish dish - it was delicious!
