Michael,
To start, a humorous touch- I'm straight! This post might be a bit
glowing, and I certainly don't want you to get the wrong idea ;-)
I have been a JMDLer for over a year now, and a big part of the reason that
I am still here, is the joy of life that each and every one of your posts
contains! You live life to the fullest, and I so admire and respect that.
Hey, you sent me my first non-commercial JM cd's- AS well as a Joan
Armatrading live boot- just in exchange for my sending you my tape of Dave
Matthews on 60 minutes!! Wally K was here visiting at the time, and he
will concur that I was so touched by this.
You have a huge heart and soul, and offer so much to this list. I just met
you less than 2 weeks ago, and tho we didn't spend as much time as I would
have liked, I know you are my Brother. I don't need to mention all that
you contributed to Jonifest 2001, but you, as always, went beyond the call
of duty, my friend.
This family of ours is reeling soooo, this week. Beyond normal
comprehension. Our world and lives may never be the same again. And for
that reason alone, we need someone like you here among us.
So, if you need a break, I fully understand and respect that, but I DO wish
you might reconsider.
With love and respect,
your brother
