How does this one compare with 'Zen Arcade'? I keep meaning to pick it but always forget. Songs & Stories is a great record! <<04. "Under The Big Black Sun" by X (easily their most brilliant moment).>> Not exactly a clear call, when you look at the 2 that came before it (Los Angeles/Wild Gift)...but I think I'd give it the nod as well, on the basis of 'Hungry Wolf' and 'Because I Do'. Both Husker Du & X got lost in the 80's shuffle (right band-wrong time), but along with the Replacements they kept me rocking in the 80's! Thanks for the list...
