Mark, I'm going to play "Xmas" later tonight (it's not that easy to just throw it on - have to dig it out from my album chest ;-) but I just read through all the lyrics from the songbook and have to say from an objective standpoint that it probably is her finest work (I also thought that the first time I heard it when it was just released). My deal with NYT is just that I have a greater emotional attachment to it like FTR. I fell madly in love with NYT first and guess I have that loyalty to my first love. Reading the "Xmas" lyrics again they seem especially profound in the context of the times we are living in right now. Kakki
