Taking a break from things, I noticed a bona fide Joni mention in the January 2002 issue of Seventeen magazine. (and I'm not even going to get into my son's supposedly witty comment: "Gee Mom, why don't you start up a magazine called "Forty Three.").
Anyhow.... They had a small list of Girl Rock from A to Z. Joni is listed as Mitchell, Joni, (unlike my CD collection which has her listed under the J's unlike the Springsteen CDs which are under the S's), with the comment: "You're not a chick-rock connosseur 'til you own her 1971 classic "Blue." So there you go. She's out there for another generation. Signing off MG
