Hi everyone, I rememebr when Joni got the award for TI (oh my, that could be some other Joni award, there are so many it confuses me, so forgive me if i'm wrong)- anyway, it's not the award, it's something she said that evening that still makes me wonder. I saw it in the Asian Music TV network of Star World. A lovely girl from China was hosting the show where she was walking backstage and talking to the winners of that evening. She found Joni and the 2 girls had a little chat. One of the questions was "How do you write your songs?" - which made all of us here watching it go "OHHHHHHH, THAT GIRL DOESN'T KNOW WHAT SHE'S GETTING HERSLEF INTO"...:) Joni didn't mind the question at all. She said her compositions raise from her inner mantras and that all of her songs are her mantras. But then she said, and i rememebr it very clearly "It took me seven years to write the lyrics to one of my songs" and she smiled from ear to ear and eye to eye. That was, more or less, the end of the interview.
I've been wondering ever since then about the 7 years song. Joni made it clear that it was the lyrics of the song that took 7 years to write which makes it even more magical. I have no idea, i'm afraid. What you think, everyone? What is Joni's 7 years song?
