--  This is a very common phenomenon, and since I'm days behind on the 
digests, I'm sure you've already gotten responses, Sherelle.  They even have 
a name for it -- for the experience of perceiving or associating one kind of 
perception, say a color, with a musical note, or warmth/coldness, or even a 
taste.  But i can't for the life of me remember the technical term.  I'm sure 
someone else on the list will remember.
