Call me a sentimental sop, but this Winter Olympics was the most exciting and enjoyable one I've ever experienced. I always have obsessively watched the Winter games since the 70s but I found myself even staying up all night a few times to watch the re-broadcasts of this one. Early on I was ardently rooting for every single athlete in every competition! Unbelievable and amazing.
I had to laugh a little at the Bud World "riot" - have felt the same frustration at getting a drink and some night life in SLC a few times myself ;-) Notwithstanding, I think the people of SLC and Utah did a stupendous job. Kakki
