I'm not sure what the list claims to be. But such comparisons and rankings are absurd, apples to marmosets. And everyone will consider it to have at least one egregious omission; for me, Bill Frisell as an "HONERABLE (sic) MENTION"? I don't think so. And picking one of Joni's piano songs as a "Classic Moment" on guitar ... nice going! But I suppose it could be taken as "a list of 100 guitarists worth recognizing for one reason or another, in no particular order." -Fred
