honey who need the static it hurts the head and you wind up cracking and the day goes dismal from Breakfast Barney to the sign-off prayer what a sorry face you have to wear I don't know if they still do this- radio (and TV) stations that are not 24 hr would end with a sign off prayer (Channel 85's Reverend 'Sport' Trendleburg is my favorite "pain, like fear, may simply be God's way of hurting us").
