LUV Love.  I was SO hyperventilating and excited to read this today in the
LA Weekly, but then learned (boohoo) that it immediately sold out.  ;-(  But
that's a good sign that maybe we'll be seeing more of the resurrected Arthur
Lee around these parts again soon!  The Knitting Factory is starting a week
of tributes to the Beatniks and there are going to be amazing guests every
night starting Saturday.  Oh, maybe I'll go just hang outside the place to

Wed.Get Beat again with film screenings at 6 p.m. (see Film & Video
Events); followed by the long-awaited return of legendary Sunset Strip
psych-rock genius Arthur Lee & Love (featuring members of Baby Lemonade),
spoken word from Exene Cervenka, rock from Quarter After, 8 p.m., $20. See
Scoring the Clubs. In the bar: Supasoulsucka, with guest DJ Lee Joseph. In
the lounge: Circle of Songs, with Lowen & Navarro, Marcy Detroit, Michiko,
7:30 p.m., no cover; then its Twine, featuring live experimental
electronica and guest DJs, 10 p.m., $5.
