I'll add my addled .02: I recall that she'd recorded one part of the piano track at one studio, concluding the latter portion at another, and the two pianos were not quite in tune with each other. There've been a couple of times when I wanted to crawl inside the speakers to get _really_ close to the pianos and hear what Mingus heard. Denny OBFiresign Theatre: "That's metaphysically absurd!
