<what i'm thinking of is mainly <jeff tweedy's earlier collaboration with jay farrar--both <courtney and a friend of his are devotees of "alt-country" <music, and the only wilco i'd heard before YHF was on <some mixed tapes we have...sounding very roots rockin', <like uncle tupelo. not that that's a BAD thing!
Not at all, it's just a matter of taste. I dig it all, Tupelo, Son Volt, Wilco, Jay Farrar's solo "Sebastopol" from last year...bring it on! :~) And yes, that first Being There track is very off-putting, but once you get past that one, it's smooooth sailing.
