hi wally

 >>>>>>>>>>my commitment ceremony will be on
december 27, my birthday. it might interest you to know that i'm getting a
ready-made family in the bargain: FOUR children (though all of them of age,
thanks god).<<<<<<

congratulations!!! i wish you all the happiness in the world

& itll be good to have you back & active on the list :-)

 >>>>>>>>and then it's off to city hall to litigate
litigate litigate until we get official recognition of our partnership,
which can be done but might take some ass kicking.<<<<<

can i throw in a nbote of caution??? just be careful - there are a lots of
stresses & strains in the legal process esp where a relationship is
involved. i knew a women in cape town who went through a similar process,
going all the way to the constitutional court, won a tremendous battle for
same sex marriages here, and set a precedent for their recognition under
law.

unfortunately they neglected their relationship, it never recovered from
thbe stresses, and they went their separate ways a few months later, much
to the harm of everyone involved.

now im not sure what may be involved in your case, & whether it is
anythging like a similar process - just be aware of the strains the process
may involve!!!

so, after that somber note - glad to have you back here!!!
