Hello my Fest Family and the JMDL Family!

Where do I begin to tell the sweet love story ... sorry. But it is a love story ...
thank you
Joni! And at one time we just thought her music was her gift. I wish just once she
could really
know what she has spawned. Why doesn't she come play with us some time?

First, Ashara. You are something else Mama Lion, Granola pants! I only hope finding
Full Moon,
can make your job, get easier and easier. I think we really do know how lucky we are
to have you
and what a treasure you are. Much joy and love to you.

To the Lez cottage girls and all the sistas, we are family, we have come so far
together. And I
can't wait to go forward with all of you.

To the Full Moon, what a marriage! This is like nirvana. We belong together!

The music was unbelievable! Do you all think I am using the exclaimation point too
much? So
what?!

I loved hearing the less experienced performers and seeing them (me) get there message
out as much
as you polished talented professionals. HIghlights? Hmmm ... Bryan Thomas, you
rocked my world!
Marian, you ARE our Joni on guitar. Sherelle, well you know what I thought before it's
way beyond
that now. Victor can not be stopped. I could be in bed and off in a distance
somewhere, I could
always hear you. Kay, Jenny, Gisele and Barbara - you go girls! Bob Mueller, Paz
Man, the Les's
kick my ass and even make me swoon! Kate Bennett and Jeff Bisch bringing it down home!

Thanks especially for the help I got from Kate and Jeff and Marian. I went looking
for help and I
was fortunate to get three ringers for my set. Thanks for picking up the rookie!
I'll never
forget. Also, my most embarassing moment. When I gave Kate the Cd of Patsy, that I
brought all
the way from Chicago ... without the CD actually inside. I am still blaming that on
my cat, she
is a closet Patsy Cline fan.
Highlight: The Friday night Hee Haw at the Lez cottage! At one point we had more than
20 in and
around our back deck singing - and in the rain I might add. That's where Fire and
Rain came out
for Sugarpants! Gisele playing non stop, Victor playing non-stop. And that's when
one too many
Wild Turkeys opened up this shy Jonifester from last year and I broke out into Ethel
Merman. I
know there are plenty of you who would like to shoot me for that, but I never meant
for things to
get so out of hand. Smurph get help! You CAN kick the Merman habit! We'll do an
interventon if
need be.

Getting to know or observe with joy, Jody, Rose, Patrick, Roberto,Chuck, Walt, Brian,
Ed and
Claudia. As always Uncle John, Jimmy, Nikki and Paz.

Just walking around the compound , the stopping here and there for hugs! The stopping
for photo
opps. Sitting alone at night on the Lez porch hearing laughter and music from a
distance.
Especially, Saturday night as I sat and heard Smurph doing "IT" all the way form the
performance
space to the front porch, for the first of many many many many many times! Oh and Kay,
Smurph and
I doing the video diary in our creepiest Ethel!

Seeing Maggie get to play at the fest instead of being on task in the kitchen!

To the Sugarpants & Lez cottage posse, Donna, Hell, Kerry, Lori, Sharon, Catherine,
Mary P,
Ashara, Yael, Cindy and MAGS! Quiet Mags, who has become such a dear friend, it was
sooo great
really talking, even though you were a bit preoccupied. It was so great to see you
bust it out at
the Hee Haw! Late night chats with Lori and Cindy sharing bits of our hearts & souls
together.
All you women are pretty freakin incredible! I am walking on air and the last time I
felt like
this I was falling in love!

To all mentioned and the other half I did not .... Everybody I love you. Thank you
GOODNIGHT!

Peace,
Susan

P.S. Three days of peace, love and music and what's so funny bout peace love and
understanding?!
