Hi there, I just hijacked the computer at my mother's house. It's been only 24 hours since I was last online and already I'm craving for more news! Got all this great post today - thank you all! I actually haven't been talking about anything but the fest all day long. I can't believe how much I already miss you jonipeople (well I CAN actually!) So many profound friendships in such a short time...what a gift:-) :-) :-) I still have a lot of people to thank for the time of life, and these are only a few of them:
Jack - I had a great time at Woodstock and at the cabin with you harmonising on Cactus Tree - what a joy hearing your beautiful voice. Definately wanna do more of that next year;-) Michael - lord of masculinity! Even though you did weep quite a bit:-D I loved singing with you on Blue. Just bought Court and Spark. Recognized a lot of the songs from your set which gave me the chills!! Had a great time at Woodstock! By the way, you still got some of that tequila left?? Les R. - what an amazing guy you are!! You are certainly one of the most generous and loving people I know! You're performance belong to my absolute favorites - it was extremely touching (I'm getting all soft and dreamy now...). I didn't think a subway-goodbye could be so moving!! Will I see you at Chris' gathering? Chris - thanks for playing a sublime bass. Can't wait to meet up with you in UK;-) Stephanie - you played that classical piece so beautifully - a real joy having a classical contribution to the performances! It was great rehearsing Blue with you! I hope I get to see you in Denver some time before the next Jonifest. Les I. - it was great doing that afterparty in the poolhouse with you friday night! You, Michael and Jack got me so drunk that I could barely stand on my legs saturday, but it was fun while it lasted:-D Nikki - also thanks to you for the great singing friday night and the trip to Woodstock:-) Yael - thanks for having been a great roommate. We had some good laughs, that I'll miss:) Looking forward to hearing about your future escapades on mail... Bob - I just saw a film with Robert de Niro and thought of you!-D You're a real generous guy with quite a charm! You surely got me swept of my feet with your Refuge of the Roads and Cherokee Louise (wasn't it?). Took me by surprise..! Bette and John - I just fell in love with you guys!!! Bette, you're so amazing to listen to talking about you're acting adventures and John, from where do you get all these crazy jokes??? Claud and John - I had a great time listening and talking to you, and I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing you at Chris' sometime soon. Kay - thanks for the wonderful music you brought to the fest! I wish we could have had a last lunch in NYC but maybe later this year? Also thanks letting me stay at your appartment in case I'll need logement. Patrick - you're the best!! You were totally exhausted and you still came to try and get tickets for "Rent" for me and Henning. I definately want to go see it with you when I come over there. Julius - I had a great time kicking back in Woodstock with you! Thanks for the unisone Cold Blue Steel and the book about Woodstock! Hope seeing you soon! I'm looking forward to some great e-mail exchanges with you all! Henning sends his deepest thanks to you all! Love, Christina
