Vol. 1 - Crosby, Stills & Nash - The early years The first volume of this project features the early years and the story of the Hollies, the Byrds and the Buffalo Springfield. Vol. 2 - Crosby Stills Nash and sometimes Young - A biography The second volume features the CSNY story from 1968 until 2002. Vol. 3 - CSN&Y: Forty years of music and a trunk of memories The third volume contains a detailed discography (also including an extensive section dedicated to sessions, abandoned albums and unreleased songs), videography, bibliography, a complete guest-appearance list (on other people?s albums), an extensive concert chronology (tours, benefit-concerts, live guest-appearances, set-lists, line-ups), a "radio and TV appearance" database and a "cover-version" listing. The set is enriched by many unpublished photos & visuals (hand-bills, passes, flyers, rare singles) and by first-hand anecdotes and memories contributed by musicians, producers, managers, photographers, CSN associates, fans and by members of "The Lee-Shore", and "Rust".
