I really enjoy "Quarter Moon In a Ten Cent Town." [There's an uncredited duet on a song called "One Paper Kid". Does everyone already know who the red-headed stranger is on that track? It's an easy one!]
The Ronstadt/Harris albums I'm familiar with are "Trio" and "Trio II" and the 3rd member of the trio is no less than Dolly Parton. Emmylou and Joni both appeared at The Band's swan song "The Last Waltz", a multi-CD set just expanded and released. The film of the events by Martin Scorcese is widely regarded as among the finest rock movies ever. Emmylou's "Spyboy" tour included Brian Blades kid brother as drummer. I have the video from that tour and I like that lots too. There are live versions of many of the songs from the "Wrecking Ball" collection that you're already familiar with. The live sound is at least as good as the sound of the CD. Most of all, Emmylou in concert is not to be missed. She has the biggest hair in the business and her physical beauty is considerable. Oh, and she sings pretty well, too. :) Lama Raffaele asked: >>>>>I'm listening a couple of CDs by Emmylou Harris lately and find her music quite amazing. I like in particular Wrecking Ball and some of the songs she sings with Linda Ronstandt in a recent recording. I know that Joni and Emmylou have never collaborated but was wondering what they think of each other... Could you also recommend any other CDs by her? Perhaps some of the early ones.>>>>>
