Your right, it does appear as if Stevie Nicks has a lot of make-up on in
this photograph.
Why? I don't know, but it sure as hell isn't to hide her age! I recently saw
her up close with very little make up on and she looks better than most 30
year old women around my neighborhood and work place. She, like Joni, is in
her mid fifties. There are very few lines on Stevie's face and don't even
think about coming back to me with the plastic surgery garbage. She has
stated on a few occasions that she would never alter the aging process of
her face that way. I think the photo in question was just a fun opportunity
for dress-up(studio setting with royalty type clothing and crown) while
Joni's pic was a casual shot in the garden while having a conversation.
Granted, I would much rather go with the light make-up if any. Especially if
you don't need it(and Stevie does NOT).
Yes Bob, I'm a Joni fan and a Stevie fan too.
