You are VERY lucky - see what a love of Joni Mitchell can do for you, yes you, lucky Joni-lister! I guess I shouldn't whine about it, but what the hell! I like whining and I'm in a crappy mood today anyway so allow me to indulge myself. They turned off the water in our office building today because the hot water tank broke down and was leaking at the intake from the city water supply flooding downwards from the top floor of the building. So we were without water and flushable toilets until about 4 p.m. So I thought - hey, I've got the urge for going, so I'll just go out and buy the Joni CD AND find a toilet on the outside at the same time. Imagine my disappointment on discovering Trlog wasn't being released here today at all. But I now know the locations of many fine public washrooms in my office vicinity, always useful information to have. (A little water-supply/toilet humour here from one of my co-workers who wrote the following: >What do these things have in common? >- a 500-lb cat >- an easy-going person >- the building we work in? >They can't be put out. Then he wrote an e-mail to his clerk (which he copied to the whole office, of course), asking her to order some of those little post-it notes and, oh yeah, a box of Depends. (This kind of silliness almost makes up for my having to waaaaaaaaaiiitt for Joni. For Chrissake, she's a Canadian, and we're even on the same damn continent - no matter what Wally K may think of that! what's the problem??) ===== Catherine Toronto ______________________________________________________________________ Post your free ad now! http://personals.yahoo.ca
