Maybe they have a romantized image of you puffing away...like James Dean in an old black and white movie. I do sense that there is somewhat of an allure to lighting up and smoking. Even the hobbits in Tolkien have a love for smoking tobacco(speaking of which I wonder if they'll allude to that at all in the next movie coming up.) I wonder if that was always true of cigarette smoking...how was it thought of in the very beginning when the first cigarette was smoked. Was it always fashionable or was that something that has slowly developed over the years? And I wonder if as anti smoking sentiments grow stronger and more widespread, if the romantic image of smoking will just grow stronger as well?
