I think this song would be far too difficult for a drunk to sing. Too wordy. Have you ever seen a bunch of drunks at a party try to sing a far simpler song such as Piano Man? It's was pretty bad musically but the fact that it was a toga party and half the people had togas that were no longer covering the right places made it somewhat more memorable.
