Also, there is that interesting lyrical progression of who escorted her to the hall (starting early on with 'two white men', then 'two gentlemen', then ' 16 gentlemen' (I probably have the number wrong there - MOA ?) and on the above version 'an entourage". Also, in the Refuge version, at the end of "And I'll play if you have the money, or if you're a friend to me' she adds "(then you'll get a backstage pass, and you'll get in free)' or some such.
