Hi Bob! I am a huge Dinah fan, but while I love her voice, I don't know I'd catergorize it as sweet. I'd say it's kind of bluesy and plain speaking, if that makes any sense. I love the way she annunciates and syncopates. Its like each word is individually framed within a phrasing that is otherwise -somewhat whimsical. Funny, I used to frequent a piano bar where, "What A Difference A Day Makes" was MY signature song.
