I'm glad Joni sent us this latest missive from her nerverending journey. Whatever she has to say, I find worth hearing (even though I enjoy some things more than others -- but that's just my personal taste). T'log isn't the alpha or (I hope) the omega. It is what it is -- and I appreciate her generosity in giving it to us.
I have a feeling that the last 2 albums have maybe been a way for her to sort through the past in order to have a clearer picture of what she wants to do in the future (it's hard for me to think an artist of her gifts would never compose again). Dylan did the same sort of thing in the early 90s -- and returned with Time Out of Mind. Bruce
