Oh for me right off...okay I'm the spirit of Christmas Past...and take her back to the very first mural she painted on her bedroom wall. Then...then to the very first chords she ever came up with and realized.."Hmmmm? This ain't bad..maybe I got something?" Then I would take her to see this young woman sitting up in the bleachers...back in 1976..she would see how this woman was totally mesmerized ...awestruck...almost rendered speechless from her musical genius. This young woman stayed with her for all these many years...still mesmerized and craving her. This woman joins the jmdl..and the rest they say is history.

1. To see her reaction when Kratzman gives her back her paper with all her
cliches & banalaties circled, and tells her to write in her own blood. Just
to see the initial beginnings of her determination to let her genius reach
the surface upon this life-altering challenge.

2. The sessions for Blue, particularly cutting the title track.

3. The exact moment she figured out that chord progression to Hejira, you
know, that very first chord change.

4. The first time she ever got a standing ovation playing in public.

5. Her performance at Isle of Wight.

6. Her creation of the concept of HOSL.

7. Writing the lyrics to "Don't Interrupt The Sorrow".

Yeah, I could die happy...
