There is a grandeur to it all that makes it rather distant emotionally. In this case, I like the "big story" epic quality. It's not an intimate slice of life even though it's being marketed as a personal revenge story. That wasn't the most impressive part of the film for me. > But worth seeing > if only for Daniel Day Lewis who is dazzling.
