The most annoying thing is that all labels have to be in French and English, even in areas where there are virtually no French people living. So you go into a supermarket and can't understand what anything is, because for some reason, the French side of the labels is always turned to the aisles, and the English side hidden, like toast always falling on the buttered side. The theory I've heard is that supermarket workers are fed up because of low pay, so they stack the shelves with the English side of the labels hidden to screw everyone up -- everyone, that is, apart from the two French-speaking shoppers. ;-)

Quebecois (kay-be-KWA) is the French name for it. The anglos say the English word the way it looks. The problem is, do you spell it Quebecker, or Quebecer? if you don't put the k in it looks like it should be a soft c, but it isn't.
