That and the fact that Letterman so effusively praised her performance and her CD! Even Paul (another Canadian, BTW) was smitten. I don't ever remember both of them oohing and aahing like that over a "new" talent. She was great. Felt like a real star-is-born moment for me without having to watch Starsearch or American Idol. --Bob
