hey mitch: nice post. i'm the same, i never felt that i was connecting with other gays by liking joni, whereas other musical loves of mine at one time or another (musical comedies, bette midler, soft cell) did have a gay tinge. i didn't come to this list for gay solidarity either, and i was kind of surprised by how many gay men and women are here.
