I don't have the full gig, but I do have what was shown on "The Old Grey Whistle Test", it's a pretty good portion. I just watched it a couple weeks ago and I enjoyed it a lot. I had forgotten how much talent Tom Scott brought to that tour, and he shares a lot of the spotlight with Joni in these clips. Nice rocking take on "Raised On Robbery". I tend to neglect Scott when I think about Joni's reed guys in favor of Shorter (who of course has had a much longer career with her) and Michael Brecker (whose work on the '79 S&L tour I'm just ga-ga about). Anyway, Scott rocks, and he even gets an additional gold star in MY book as he recorded a Joni cover (Woodstock on his LP Great Scott). This particular video compilation, also features her 1970 appearance, "Joni Mitchell sings Joni Mitchell" (informally referred to as the 'Pink Dress Concert') & another 'Old Grey Whistle Test' broadcast with lots of Dog Eat Dog (DED) references and lots of discussion about her paintings. So how am I doing in the "insight" department? :~) I'm happy to share and will gladly make a copy for you if you're interested. Bob NP: Meat Puppets, "Station"
