And who are her peers as someone who spun stories, used original somewhat
dissonant flavors, self-produced more than a dozen groundbreaking albums,
had a knack for appearing to be a rebel without offending too many people
permanently, and built her own artwork?

Who else does all these things on a world-class level?  No one.  That's why
she's peerless.
