Stu, you're not alone.  There seem to be three reactions to BSN:

2.  nice, if flawed addition to Joni canon
3.  devine
I've only played mine once or twice so you can guess which group

In style they are very much the same, T'log being of course 2 discs
of Joni compostions, so that helps a bit, I guess. I've only labored
through that one once, too. Arranger Mendoza's gaudy schmaltz
mixed with what's left of Joni's voice made it tough going for me.
