Dear friends,
Cheriachan- Fr.Cherian Nereveettil(5th batch full-timer and present
Ernakulam Zonal Pastor) was travelling to Delhi from here with a couple of
friends.Throughout the journey,they met a huge number of people.They
started realising that it was the "blessings" of numerous people which made
this train journey pleasant for them. They began counting them one by one-the
guards at level crossing,those serving,the engine-driver,fellow
travellers, etc. If one of them failed to do their part well,it could upset
the safe and smooth train journey.
As we go through each day, we are "blessed" by millions of people.
At least, I, take many people for granted.
Just imagine you are walking through a street and there's no one around;how
do you feel?Scared? Now let's appreciate all the people who pass by
unnoticed when we are on our way to work,to the market, etc. Simply by their
presence they help us.
How many people do you think are involved in bringing food to
"you",providing electricity,and other necessities?Tens,hundreds,more???
Let's take some time each day to thank the Lord for each person(known and
unknown to us) who has contributed to make our day a "blessing" and ask him
to "bless" them.
Love & prayers,
Annie Berly/Cochin/India.
