Subject: A LIGHTER NOTE
Dear Friends,
How blessed are we to be the part of history, for not doing anything
great, but just the Lord allowing us to live on this day See, as we
write the date here in USA - M/D/Y, today is 01-02-03. For such a date to
come we have to wait for a millenneum - another thousand years I don't
know how many of us will be there
A 3 year old boy praying : "Our Father, who does art in heaven,
Harold is His name..." Amen.
After the Christening of his baby brother in the Church, Johny sobbed
all the way back home in the back seat of the car. His dad asked several
times, what the matter was. Finally he answered , " That pastor said, he
wanted us brought up in a Christian home, and I want to stay with you
guys".
Little Catleen had been tought to pray the Lord's prayer several
time. Finally she wanted to say it by herself. She began to pray and came
to the end of the prayer saying, 'Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us some e-mail, Amen"
Another four year old's prayer was " forgive us our trash baskets as
we forgive those who put trash in our baskets".
A sunday school teacher asked her students, "Why is it necessary to
bequiet in the Church?" One bright little girl replied , " Because
people are sleeping".
A mother was preparing pancakes for the sons Kevin 5, and Ryan 3. They
were arguing over who would get the first pancake. The mother thought to
teach them a moral lession and said, If Jesus was to be here he would
say, " Let my brother have the first cake, I can wait". Then Kevin turned
to his younger brother and said, "Ryan, you be Jesus".
A wife invited some people to dinner. At the table, she turned to
their six year old daughter and said, "would you like to say the grace"?
"I wouldn't know what to say, said the girl. "Just say what you hear
Mummy say", the wife answered. The daughter bowed her head and said, "
Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner".
Enjoy the night and have a good sleep.
