Hello,

With Firefox and jQuery-1.3.2 so widely spread nowadays, I would like
to report a rather serious accessibility problem for all people that
are dependent on keyboard navigation.

With all versions after jquery-1.2.1 (js being enabled), link focus is
lost in Firefox when you follow a link to another page and hit the
backspace key.

You can try it for yourself, e.g. on http://jquery.com/ with the
"Plugins" link in the top menu -- once with js enabled (link focus is
lost when you come back after having followed the link, and once with
js disabled (link focus is still there after hitting the backspace
key.)

There was no problem in that respect before version 1.2.2 and it
doesn't happen with jQuery (any version) disabled.

Although this isn't happening in IE8 (native, on Vista32 Home Premium
SP2), IE7 (IE-Tester), and Opera 9.5.1, it doesn't seem to be solely
Firefox (i.e., browser) related, since it's working perfectly even in
the latest Firefox version (3.5.5) with the older jQuery-1.2.2
version.

Being no javascript specialist myself, I really hope someone among you
developers will have a look into this.

Thank you so much for your valuable time and contributions!
