That page won't work correctly if you call it directly from a browser w/out a "q" parameter: http://www.pengoworks.com/workshop/jquery/autocomplete_ajax.cfm?q=fair This is just a basic example and I don't do any error checking to simplify the readability of the script. Besides, the error message is pretty clear on what went wrong. -Dan
