I've given the code you sent a look over and unfortunately there's not
enough to diagnose what (of the many things) could be going wrong.
What does the "loadFile" function do?
Could you perhaps post a "cut down" version of the page? It should
contain all the JavaScript you've written and the basics of the page
(say with just two tabs).
