I'm not home right now so I can't test the performance of the custom demo but will let you know. On the custom demo if you alternate between the two example links, eventually the left link developes a gap between the arrow and the frame in IE7. You really need to bang on IE7 karl, its the dominant browser as you well know. Oh and I know I can make them smaller, I was just trying to get you to see that your samples will be more effective if they where representing the real size one woud use them for, I have found that large tool tips are a really bad idea - they make the UI very confusing. But I am going to convert to ClueTips and evangelize them from now on.
