Wow.. I was unaware of the Ajax demo within the jQuery LocalScroll plugin. I
had only visited the regular demo. I'm definitely going to spend some time
studying the syntax in this demo page. 

Thanks so much, Ariel. I've also looked into LiveQuery and will try this out
as well.
