I posted the issue in JQuery's Google Group, so I didn't see your reply until just now when a Google search returned the Nabble thread. I commented out the if statement you specified, and at first glance that solved the issue. However, if you start with the window maximized and change the size of the browser window while the page is blocked, and then scroll to the right, the portion of the page you have to scroll to see is not blocked. Does this happen for you, too?
