Can someone please advise? All of a sudden, I need to embed tons of media. I carefully read Mike Alsup's Media Plugin (http://malsup.com/ jquery/media/) and several others, including JWPlayer (http:// jeroenwijering.com/) and jMedia (http://www.contentwithstructure.com/ extras/jmedia) - but I still don't understand what I'm supposed to be doing with them.
For now, I've made do with a combination of iframes and home-made Flash. I looked at a bunch of simpler plugins, but they all seemed to be jQuery-fied Flash players and I can do that with SWFobject. I realise I'm missing some very important knowledge! All of the media- for-websites tutorials I can find are as out of date as my own knowledge. Do any of you wise people know of a thorough, contemporary guide? Hope so! Thanks, Cherry.
