Its simple.
Just remove the $.post function then do this:
$(this).ajaxSubmit({
                               type:   'post',
                               url:    '/update',
*                               data:   queryString,*
                               target:         '#userForm',
                               success:        function()
{alert(queryString);}
           });
           return false; // <-- important!
