Hello,

I am trying to add multiple JRun servers to a single Apache server. BTW,
thanks for all of your replies last week on this topic. Anyway, this is
slowly turning out to be the most painful thing I have had to do with JRun.
I have tried this about 10 times and it just won't work. There are all sorts
of magical results ;-), one being that everytime I re-run the web server
connector wizard for the default server, JRun erases the new line I
specified in
"jvms.properties" seconds prior (qa=/opt/JRun/servers/qa). This results
in the newly created server disappearing from the tree in the JMC.
Why is JRun undoing my edits?

I would also like to know the answers to the following:

1)The advanced Conf. guide specified that I should run the connector wizard
for each JRun server, does this include "re-running" it for the default
server? If yes, the allaire documentation group should specify this in the
guide since it can be confusing.

2) When I make a copy of the default server directory and name it let's say
"QA", I next have to edit the local.properties file within that directory.
Since I am not using any EJB functionality, must I specify different ports
for ejipt.classServer.port and ejipt.homeport? Also, what is the signifiance
of the following line:
    ranConnector=yes

Should this line be deleted from the local.properties file in my new
server ("QA") prior to running the web connector wizard?

4) Last (for now), as mentioned in the beginning of my email, why did JRun
randomly start erasing entries from config files when they are previously
manually edited and saved? Does JRun revert back to some cached properties
file?

PLEASE HELP. This is very frustrating!!!!!

Thanks,
Victor
