I think it's clear enough what you're looking for.  I don't see
anything in the Tabtastic code that will help you do this.  Remember
that Tabtastic is pretty old; many of its techniques have been
superseded.  Perhaps you want to investigate other Tab solutions, or
even better, try you own.  There really isn't that much going on in
such tab widgets; it's not that hard to write your own.
