Katya's instinct was to watch him, see what he did, but then, that was how
she'd been trained.  But if he was dangerous, they didn't want to let him
get too close to the others.  "Let's go have a closer look," she said,
edging her way around through the trees, being as quiet as possible as she
went nearer to him.  Scanners were fine, but she wanted to see this being,
see what he or she looked like.
