>Steven asked the question, then, that he had wondered about since Mr.
Watson had first been introduced.

>"If that's the case, and if they are as xenophobic as you have indicated,
would you have any speculation as to why they allowed you to live in their
system and on >their homeworld at all? It seems rather strange that they
allowed you on their planet when they won't allow anyone near their system."

Watson held his temper-she was delving into his personal live based on the
mission..."Mr. Liridian-with all due respect, all relationships-whether
professional or personal, have highs and lows. You might care to remember
when the Klingons were a hated enemy of the Federation. I happened to be
with the Ramesar at a more pleasant time and now it is obviously not so
pleasant-but let me ask you something. How has this situation become my
responsibility and my fault?" Instead of looking at Liridian now he cast a
side glance at Bedru before looking at Liridian again.

>"Would you have any insight as to the shielding on the ships that is
preventing the Protector's sensors from seeing what is behind them?"

"I believe I have already answered this-I do not know."

Caimlyn had a question that he was hoping could be answered.  "Sir, may I ask why the Ramesar might have allowed some of the Protector's crew to survive planetside?  It is clear that they had superior firepower and that they did not foreigners on this planet.  You might have some insight."
