Hi Peter I'm glad you could solve it. Looking at the event list would also be an idea for the next time ...

I couldn't find this extra tempo change. What I did to resolve the problem was to select everything in the project and then do a "delete" checking the options so that only tempo changes were deleted and no audio/midi data other than that. Then I put in the tempo change at measure one as you suggested. Now the entire project plays at the new, desired tempo. thanks. --Pete From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Benjamin Blatter Sent: Wednesday, July 28, 2010 2:32 AM To: JSonar -- JAWS Scripts for Sonar list Subject: Re: [Jsonar] changing Tempo of a song There are two options when you insert a new tempo, which you would reach by tab. Insert a new tempo and insert the most recent tempo. The latter should change the tempo for the whole project, or at least from there you want it to change. At the beginning of the project, I brought up the tempo tool and typed in a new tempo. The first measure or two of the song plays at the new tempo, but then the song reverts back to the original tempo. How can I change the tempo of the entire song globally? I have several midi tracks as well as an audio track or two, but the audio tracks are empty for now so I don't have to worry about stretching them.
