>From what I understand, Home Studio has a new dashboard type of thing in it
instead of the traditional track pane. JAWS doesn't see any of the controls
on it and it makes the entire program not usable. Given this, you would need
to evaluate whether you need Sonar 8.5.3 LE, Studio or Producer. I
eventually ended up getting Producer since I would want to use most of the
things in it. If you are looking for something simple where most fx/soft
synths wont be used or where automation will never be wanted or required,
then go with LE. I warn you though, LE is a super stripped version of Sonar
where 90% of Sonar's features have been removed. Best bet is Studio or
Producer. Music creator 5 is available, but I see not much of a difference
between LE and Creator 5 except that Creator 5 is even more limiting than LE
is.

Subject: [Jsonar] producer vs home studio

Hi All,

I am looking at purchasing sonar 7 home studio xl version.

Will the JSonar 7 scripts work with this version of sonar?

Also, are there any major differences that sonar 7 producer has instead of
sonar 7 home studio xl?

>From a blindness perspective, I am trying to find out what is the major
negatives of using home studio xl instead of producer. Any feedback on the
negatives of the home studio version would be appreciated.\

Thanks for the feedback!

Regards,
Justin
